• Give your Google Form a clear title that hints at the adventure.

• Use the "Form description" field to introduce the storyline, outlining the scenario where students are "trapped" and their objective for "escaping".
• Customize the form's visual theme by selecting different text styles and colors. You can also upload a header image or GIF to reinforce your theme visually. 
• Further enrich the narrative by adding descriptive text and relevant images directly within the form.

Structured Tasks with Validated "Digital Locks":

• Design tasks using "Short answer" questions where students input their solutions.
• For each task, implement "Response validation" to function as a digital lock, requiring the exact correct answer (whether text or a number) for students to progress.
• Use varied puzzle formats; for example, students might need to find secret codes in visual information, such as item colors, or unscramble letters highlighted within a text to form a keyword, or apply a cipher to decode a message.
• Always set these task questions as "Required" to ensure students complete each step.

• For tasks requiring response validation, utilize the "Custom error text" field to provide a hint or a guiding clue if students enter an incorrect answer. Please be aware that leaving this field blank may sometimes cause the form to reveal the correct answer.
